Job Role:
As an RE Teacher in this Secondary School, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging RE lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
- Teaching RE to Key Stage 4 and supporting other Humanities subjects as required.
- Monitoring and assessing students' progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
- Creating a positive classroom environment that encourages excellent behaviour and active participation.
- Working collaboratively with the Humanities team to develop and share best practices.
- Maintaining excellent subject knowledge and contributing to the school's ethos and values.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) qualification.
- Proven experience as an RE Teacher or Secondary Teacher, with excellent subject knowledge in Religious Education and Humanities.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain excellent behaviour management.
- A thorough understanding of the National Curriculum and experience teaching KS3 and KS4.
- Passion for inspiring and motivating young learners to achieve their full potential.
Working as an RE Teacher for Flourish Education offers you:
- £160 - £240 per day, equating to £31,200 to £46,800 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
